Charles was pre-deceased by two brothers, Donald Bliven and Raymond Bliven, a sister-in-law, Barbara Bliven, and two brothers-in-law, William Leilous and Marvin Jeffers.
He was employed for many years by Worthington Corporation of Wellsville, NY, and he later owned and operated an automobile repair shop.
Charles spent the latter portion of his work life as a mechanic and bus driver for ACES at Alfred State College.
A lifelong Christian, Charles was a member of Grace Baptist Church in Geneva.
Before moving to Canandaigua, he was a member and one-time deacon of First Baptist Church in Belmont, NY, where he lived, worked, and raised his family.
She served as the secretary of Robert Dancause and Sons, Inc.
