The Anxiety UK Live Chat is an instant messaging service where you can speak to one of our trained volunteers, many of whom have personal experience of anxiety and depression.
Live chat is available between the hours of 9.30AM and 5.30PM Monday to Friday and is subject to volunteer availability.
If you have a question outside this time-frame, please email [email protected] and we will endeavour to respond to your message as quickly as possible.
Chat conversations are confidential and you are not obligated to reveal your name or email address unless you choose to.
Anxiety UK will not divulge any information to third parties unless the information is relevant under the Prevention of Terrorism Act, in which case we are obliged to disclose all information to the police.
eheadspace clinicians will always attempt to greet you with as little wait time as possible.
At times you may have to wait to speak or webchat with a clinician, particularly during our daily meeting from 4-pm, and from 7pm onwards when lots of people ask for help from eheadspace.
They can help you navigate around the site, and will be able to answer any specific questions you may have about managing your anxiety.
Please note that this is not a counselling service, and as such chat times will be limited to ten minutes.
With the right treatment and support, most people can make a full recovery.
